the highest waterfall in Iceland, with a cascade of 196 m.






I live in Kópavogur, a municipality just south of Reykjavik, and work as a school counselor and
a teacher in a college in Reykjavik. My main subjects are geography and earth sciences.

I first got to know panoramic pictures on Stromboli net, a Swiss/Italian web dedicated to
volcanoes all over the world during the autumn of 2004. That winter I bought me first
digital reflex camera and constructed a clumsy and heavy pano head out of fiberboards
and began experimenting.

What first caught my interest in VRs panoramas was their ability to show the whole scene
and I immediately saw their use in teaching about natural phenomena in earth sciences,
volcanoes and glaciers etc.
